Reaction Studio ("the app," "we," "us") is operated by RAXX BEATS STUDIOS LLC. This policy explains, in plain English, what data the app handles and your rights over it. We built Reaction Studio to be private by design.
1. Information we collect
Reaction Studio does not require an account and does not collect personal information on our servers. Specifically:
- Videos, recordings, and camera/microphone input — captured and edited locally on your device. They are never transmitted to us.
- Photo library access — used only to let you import videos you choose and to save your finished exports. We cannot see your other photos.
- Projects — saved locally on your device only.
2. Device permissions and why we need them
- Camera — to record your face-cam reaction. Active only while you are recording.
- Microphone — to record your voice reaction. You can mute it anytime; active only while recording.
- Photo Library — to import source videos and save exported reaction videos to your camera roll.
- Screen Recording (ReplayKit) — when you choose the screen-record feature, iOS captures your screen so you can react to content you are viewing. This is initiated and controlled entirely by you, and Reaction Studio never accesses other apps' data or feeds.
You can revoke any permission at any time in the iOS Settings app.
3. Third-party services
Reaction Studio has no backend and does not integrate advertising or analytics SDKs that identify you. If you choose to use the optional YouTube search feature, requests go directly to Google's YouTube Data API under Google's Privacy Policy. When you share an exported video, it is handed to the iOS share sheet and the destination app (e.g. TikTok, Instagram) under that app's own privacy policy.
4. How your information is used
Because your content stays on your device, we do not use it for anything. There is no profiling, no ad targeting, and no data brokering.
5. Data retention & deletion
Your projects and media remain on your device until you delete them in the app or uninstall it. Uninstalling removes all app data. We hold nothing to delete on our side.
6. Children's privacy
Reaction Studio is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
7. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Since we do not collect or store your personal data on our servers, there is no personal data for us to access, port, or delete. You retain full control of all content on your device. If you have questions about your rights, contact us below.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
