How do I react to a TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube video?
Open Reaction Studio, tap New Reaction → Screen-Record Your Feed, start recording, then swipe over to the app and scroll your feed. Reaction Studio captures the screen with your front-camera reaction on top. Come back and tap Stop to edit and share.
Why can't the app pull videos directly from my feed automatically?
iOS does not allow any app to read another app's feed or data — it's a privacy protection built into the iPhone. Instead, you scroll your own real feed while Reaction Studio screen-records it. This is the standard, Apple-approved way reaction apps work.
I'm hearing an echo or feedback in my recording. How do I fix it?
Plug in headphones — that eliminates feedback completely. Without headphones, Reaction Studio automatically lowers the video's speaker volume and applies echo cancellation and noise suppression to prevent loopback. You'll see a "Feedback Protection Active" indicator when it's working.
What resolutions and formats can I export?
Export in 1080p as vertical (9:16) for Reels, TikTok, and Shorts; square (1:1) for Instagram feed; or landscape (16:9) for YouTube. You can save to your camera roll or share directly to any app.
Does Reaction Studio upload or store my videos?
No. Everything is processed and stored locally on your device. We have no servers holding your content, and we never upload your recordings. See our Privacy Policy.
The app asks for Camera, Microphone, and Photos access. Why?
Camera and Microphone are used to record your face and voice reaction (only while recording). Photos access lets you import videos to react to and save your finished exports. You can manage these anytime in iOS Settings.
